As well as having some of the best food, Shropshire is also home to some of the best drinks in the country. It is renowned for its real ale, has a History of Beer and Brewing Museum in Bishop's Castle and Shrewsbury even hosts it's very own Beer Festival.
The town of Market Drayton has been holding a market every Wednesday for over 750 years. The stalls are filled with fresh and local produce, the quality of which is vitally important to both the seller and consumer. With great quality local meat, fruit, vegetables, dairy products and preserves, you're bound to find something you will love. And why not wash all the delicious food down with some amazing wines from Tanners in Shrewsbury, which has won numerous awards, including Central England Wine Merchant of the Year for 6 years running.
